To design (based on the research objectives) action to improve:
a) The reception of newly-arrived families.
b) The information the families have about the education system in general and the working of the specific school in particular.
c) The involvement of the families in their children’s education at home.
d) Family-school communication (how to carry out tutorials, how to manage informal contacts on entering and leaving s, what to communicate and how in the meetings at the start of the course, how to use the circulars, etc.).
e) The participation of the families in the school (both in decision taking through the formal organs and in the distinct activities the school organises for the families).
